People often go through life feeling like God doesn't care about them or even know they exist. However, this is far from the truth! His love for us is deeper than any ocean he has created. It is more vast than the darkness of space. He even Knows the number of tears you have cried in your lifetime.
(Psalm 56:8(NLT) You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book)
Many times, I have heard people say, "oh I'm gonna get right and then go to church." This is a lie the devil plants in our minds to make us not feel worthy. One of his biggest lies is making us think that we have our whole lives to "make it right" with God" The wager of sin is death. This is why Christ died for us. He paid our sin debt. The sins of all mankind were wiped clean when Jesus took up the cross and died as an innocent man for all of us. He literally changed the course of the future.
(John 3:16 (NLT) “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.)
God created us in his image. For this very reason, he takes it personally when we are hurt or taken advantage of. Because we are a reflection of him, he desires us to live as his son did. Jesus showed us that it is possible to basically be perfect. But we live in a corrupted sinful world that wants to cater to our fleshly wants and desires. It directly opposes our spirit. We need to have that relationship with God through prayer and scripture so that we strengthen our spirit and weaken our flesh. Now when I say "weaken the flesh" I by no means am saying have a weak body. I am saying to weaken the flesh is to have self control. you put your body into submission. Don't overindulge, (Gluttonous) don't be sexually immoral (fornication out of marriage) Don't intentionally seek out to harm others in any way.
He gave us all free will with the hopes that we would choose him over his creation (the worldly things).God set specific rules for us to live by to have a life full of harmony and peace. He knew some would not because they choose to put themselves first. I have heard so many people say they want to do whatever they want but find themselves lost, hopeless, confused, hurt, angry, then blaming God for the choices they made. Some just try and stop believing in him altogether. We can't do this life on our own and he didn't create us to be alone either. When we are one in spirit, it means that holy Spirit is in us and guides us in our daily lives to stay in his will. Once we become saved we are his. It does take intentional work to live a Godly life though. Nothing can take us away from him as long as we have our eyes fixed on him.
Romans (8:35-39 NLT Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.)
Believe it or not we are in a spiritual battle between unseen forces, I know, it sounds like a sci fi movie or something but I assure you it is all too real. Demons, Angels, supernatural powers, spiritual gifts, given by an internal power source. Protection by an eternal force none can match. Why would you not want in on that? God loves us enough to send his Angels to fight and stand guard for us. If you are strong in your prayer life and have a strong connection with the father, he will reveal things to you as you become more and more prepared. He wants us to know him so he will give us revelations as we ask and can handle them. He tears the veil a little at a time. His will for us is perfect and he has the best plans for our lives. All we have to do is give him everything.
